Roll up your sleeves and join Urth Clay Studio for some creative and social pottery sessions! This eight week Mindful Clay Program is perfect for beginners to intermediate where you will learn a new skill, make new friends and enjoy the hands on process of creating beautiful ceramics.
Discover the fun of pottery with this eight week program at Urth Clay Studio. Immerse yourself in the art of clay and ceramics as you are guided through a two hour session each week for eight weeks. Many different pottery techniques such as hand building, slab rolling, coiling, and wheel throwing are explained to enable you to explore what gives you the most satisfaction, enjoyment, and sense of empowerment. This program is not only focused on the art of ceramics but helps you to develop mindfulness and creativity. Explore different colours and patterns, all whilst having a great time and making new friends along the way. All firing will be done for you in the kiln, so you can take home your wonderful self made pieces to use of gift to someone special.
This course runs for 2 hours, once a week for 8 weeks. Classes are from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesdays.
Please bring an apron and a hand towel, you can also buy an apron from the studio.
