Taken to a table, told we are having set menu. We were not told the entree, main or desert, we had no choice, great thing we both like steak and arrancini. The desert was nice but not what I would have selected. When I asked about the entree I was told the chef had not decided yet. We were seated at 1800, and had out plates cleared for mains at 1835. The food tasted great, the experience was poor, I wish I had selected any other venue as a location to spend our wedding anniversary. Cassie Hi Tom, thanks so much for your feedback. ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 3 Course Stonegrill at Strathmore Hotel Neil 20 September 2025 Little disappointed in the food choices made for us. There were other menu items we would have preferred instead of what we were given. Was supposed to be a Stone Grill meal but we were served pasta and a chicken dish for mains. Had to complain to staff to get the stone grill and even then it was only 1 small serving between the two of us. Quality of the food was good. Deserts were a let down as again we were not offered a choice. Served Chocolate desert which I don't eat and a very lemony dish which was over powering.
