Entree and mains came out with no issues then they just stopped waiting on our table and mind you it wasn’t even busy at this point. A girl was sweeping up leaves instead of attending to customers. We had to ask for the table to be cleared. We never got our glass of wine, then they told us there was no dessert for the red balloon menu so they went to check and bought out little cakes which weren’t nice. We had a fantastic view, and the service was great, the waiter came around often and explained the menu to us. You could choose both two dishes for the first and second course, and everything was amazing (with great vegetarian options too). ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Octopus disgusting, desert platter disappointing Huia 17 January 2024 Definitely nothing like the photos. Entree was nice, bread and dips and lamb. Main meal of Octopus was disgusting. It wasn’t fresh, it was hard and had like a coating of rubbery skin on it. The chicken kebab was nice. We spoke to the waiter about the Octopus and he said he would talk to the chef and he never came back. The dessert platter was a joke. The cheesecake was stale, Turkish delight was ok. It definitely wasn’t anything like the photos advertising this experience. We spoke to the waitress at the end of dinner and she offered us an half price cocktail jug. Overall disappointing.
