Is there such a thing as 6 star? If so Evanslea deserves it. Attention to detail second to none, everything we could possibly need for a terrific couple of days. Wood fire very welcome on a very chilly couple of nights . BBQ very welcome for a night in. Had a walk around the beautiful gardens. Lovely of Stacey to come and make sure we had everything we needed. All in all one of the best Red Balloon experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended .

Prior to arrival we were upgraded to a cottage. Beautifully presented with all amenities including wood fire and generous breakfast hamper. Experience was relaxing and cosy in a stunning and peaceful setting. Short walk to town with plenty of facilities. Will come again.

We had a lovely short stay at Evanslea. Our cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed strolling around the beautiful gardens and watching the wrens, finches and other bird life. Stacey was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, making sure there was nothing we needed. There was even fresh sourdough, eggs and bacon in the fridge for us to cook for breakfast.
