★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended Gorgeous location, perfect for a digital detox Nesha 15 October 2025 [Employee of redballoon] This was given as a birthday gift by a group of friends and I couldn't have been happier. Let's start - the grazing platter seemed to me to be a bit OTT when I read about it, but after a 2hr drive the option to just stop and sit and snack for a bit was perfect. The eco domes are very cute and the outdoor kitchen was perfect for us to prepare food. And there's almost instant hot water from a rainwater tank. And the stars! my word, the stars. Then there's the delight of thousands of little spider webs covered in dew in the long grass in the morning, let alone the gorgeous bird song to wake up to. I've just posted one photo here but we took A LOT. the little walks around the property were great, and then we were just half an hour from some spectacular walks in the nearby national parks. Completely secluded - as well as what looks like a great 'barn' for events. Here's the thing - we saw an insane amount of birds and kangaroos, and some cute cows and llama/alpaca - but the closest we came to seeing wombats was one dark and furry little butt scuttling away. It's almost as if the wildlife are not trained to perform for visitors! The owner has promised a staff meeting with the wombat residents to highlight their need to sing and dance upon command. Maybe they'll pay attention, maybe not. ★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended Amazing weekend away Georgia 9 March 2025 My partner and I recently did the 2-night Geo Dome Bush Retreat Experience with RedBalloon, it was absolutely amazing and we can't wait to go back. The accommodation is super luxurious, with a bottle of wine and a delicious cheese platter waiting for us on arrival. Inside the Dome, there’s a cozy fireplace to keep you warm on chilly nights, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The little kitchenette has all the essentials, and there's also an outdoor cooking area with a sink, BBQ & gas hob. The location is perfect for a weekend getaway – just 2 hours from Sydney and 20 minutes from Bowral, so you can easily explore the local area. Ally and Steve were fantastic hosts and truly thought of every detail to make our stay special. While there’s no service in the domes, it’s the perfect opportunity to disconnect and unwind for a few days. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique weekend getaway near Sydney.
