It is also located within walking distance of three local award winning wineries Scarborough Wines, Keith Tulloch Wines and Thomas Wines. Enjoy breakfast vouchers each morning, a complimentary cheese tasting at a nearby Dairy and entry into the Hunter Wine Theatre where you are invited to watch a short visual presentation on The Hunter’s wine heritage and the winemaking process. You will also be treated to a wine tutorial with the Cellar master.

Had an outstanding time at the resort. So calm and peaceful, we walked away very relaxed. So much to do around Pokolbin even if you aren't into wineries, especially Hunter Valley Gardens which were fantastic.

One of the best

Definitely one of the better Red Balloon experiences. Accommodation was outstanding - clean and very spacious. Staff were wonderful - all very friendly and informative. Dave and Danny who did the wine tasting, tour, talk etc were brilliant - very informative and engaging. The cheese tasting was incredible - cheeses we've never had before. The pub was fabulous - food and drink! Very polished. Can't recommend this experience highly enough.

This Red Balloon gift getaway was a gift from my children for a special birthday. My partner and I enjoyed our time there, wasn't of course long enough. The staff were helpful and friendly and food was good , the room was very spacious and clean. Will certainly try and go back again
