    Missed attention to detail

    Megan 22 September 2025

While it was a really beautiful stay and we had high expectations being left with 1/2 a toilet roll for two nights (which we ran out of on the first day) and finding a used condom wrapper at our decking was pretty disappointing for the price and left me feeling pretty uneasy about the cleanliness and attention to detail for our user experience.

    Cabin was not "Beautiful"

    Jo 6 December 2024

We bought this experience as a quiet weekend getaway to celebrate a very special milestone anniversary. The description "2 night stay in a beautiful winery" sounded lovely and romantic. The pictures of the cabin looked very quaint. We were aware of the solar power and composting toilet and were happy to embrace the experience. However, this cabin is little more than a tiny shed. It was very clean and neat but had little to no ventilation and a small fan which blows around hot air. It was 32 degrees the weekend we were away. Much cooler outside the cabin, but the cabin is in direct sunlight with no shade as there is no awning over the deck! Go figure!..The bed is right up against the window where the sun hits first thing in the morning. Although there are blinds, the window becomes so hot, making sleeping in impossible!I had also booked a lovely dinner on the Saturday night. We had been out all day and when we came back to the cabin it was almost unbearable. Trying to get ready to go out was another challenge with the heat and the shower which trickled water. This experience was definitely not how it is advertised, extremely misleading...and DEFINITELY not worth the money. Could have stayed in a nice hotel for that! Maybe it's better in winter but I sure won't be going back to find out.

Great little cabin with an unfunny dunny.

    Luke 31 May 2024

We enjoyed our cabin accommodation. So many positives. We read all the information and got into the whole spirit of relaxing and winding down from work and being environmentally conscious. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was adequate and the outdoor area including deck, campfire set up and hammock to swing in were all great. Negatives - there wasn’t any matches or newspaper to light the campfire so we had to improvise. The dunny was puzzling to say the least. We understand drop toilets can stink but we questioned why wouldn’t the dunny be on a seperate trailer away from cabin?? Having the dunny inside the bathroom of the cabin was pretty gross. Kinda stunk out the whole bathroom making showering somewhat futile despite being necessary. My wife particularly struggled with the smell but she said she would have been totally ok if the dunny was literally “out the back” away from the cabin. Overall a wonderful experience. We even followed and cooked up some of the recommended recipes to cook over the campfire. Fantastic!!

    Highly reccomend

    Carly 28 February 2023

My partner and I loved our experience and couldn't recommend enough. Something truly unique and unforgettable. Unwind with nature, seeing kangaroos from your bed. Watch the stars of an evening from the beautiful windows. Escape reality and relax. Exactly what we needed. Photo's don't do this place justice, it is beautiful. Nice little touches like wagons to carry your bags to cabin, a torch, books, tapes.
