Nestled amongst rolling hills, Sufjan is the ultimate spot to sit back, watch the clouds drift by, and bask in the open expanse of nature with your furry friend for company. The perfect escape to recharge and reset, Sufjan is a space where you can slow down, de-stress and be restored through immersion in nature and just the right amount of seclusion. This incredible spot is all about the awesomeness of nature and helping you think about new ways to approach tricky problems. With more than enough space for creative thinking, opening your mind and finding your flow, you will have every chance to feel the physiological and psychological benefits of "awe" in a way only the great outdoors can provide.

Important information

Session Length

The duration of this experience is a two night stay
Check in from 3 pm and check out by 11 am

Minimum 3?night stay for the New Year’s Eve period. Mandatory check?in date is 30 December. The same requirement will also apply for the 2026 to 2027 holiday period. Additional fees or higher rates may apply during peak or special event periods, and these charges may be payable directly to Unyoked.

Restrictions

Guests of the Sufjan Cabin must be over the age of 18. You will receive an email with pre-arrival instructions upon booking the cabin. Additional house rules will also be provided in your field guide.

Guidelines

Guests must be over the age of 18
The exact location of your cabin will be provided upon booking
Cabins are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that are often not occupied by the Landowner all year round
Guests are responsible for their own safety in and around the cabin and property
Midweek is Monday to Thursday
Weekend is Friday to Sunday
Subject to availability
Pets are welcome. There is a $40 pet fee which will be charged by Unyoked directly
Please note: All cabins have a minimum of 2-night stay on weekends.

Cancellation

For changes made at least 15 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount
For changes made 8-15 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount (plus 5% processing fee).
For cancellations within 8 days prior to arrival there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.
For early departures prior to your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.

This experience is for two people.

Weather

The cabin is a great place to be during the warmer and cooler months and even when it rains! During wet or poor weather, guests may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, there will be a place to park your vehicle/s in any alternative nominated wet weather zones.

Dress Code

Please ensure you have sensible footwear for the hike to the cabin.

Location

This experience is located in Gloucester Tops. The Sufjan cabin sits on the traditional land of the Worimi People. It is approximately three-hour's drive from Sydney. Please note there is a 450-metre hike from the car park to the cabin.

Most amazing weekend away

[Employee of redballoon] I booked this weekend away as a gift for my boyfriend and it was truly magical! We went down on a Friday night and everything was super easy to organise and find the cabin. It was so cosy and clean and had absolutely everything you need for a weekend away. We brought down our favourite food and drinks and spent some quality time just us two. As soon as we left we couldn't wait to go again!
