Looking down towards a river, nestled among rolling hills and mountains is the Unyoked cabin Vera, an ideally situated cabin that will allow you to disconnect from the stresses of daily life, if only for a moment or two. If a need to reconnect with nature is high on your list of priorities, Vera is the perfect escape, allowing you to recharge and reset. A space where you can slow down, de-stress and feel restored through immersive nature and just the right amount of seclusion, you will feel inspired to engage the creative part of your brain as you open your mind and find your flow surrounded by nature.

Session Length

The duration of this experience is a two-night stay
Check in from 3 pm and check out by 11 am

Minimum 3?night stay for the New Year’s Eve period. Mandatory check?in date is 30 December. The same requirement will also apply for the 2026 to 2027 holiday period. Additional fees or higher rates may apply during peak or special event periods, and these charges may be payable directly to Unyoked.

Restrictions

Guests of the Vera Cabin must be over the age of 18. You will receive an email with pre-arrival instructions upon booking the cabin. Additional house rules will also be provided in your field guide.

The exact location of your cabin will be provided upon booking
Cabins are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that are often not occupied by the Landowner all year round.
Guests are responsible for their own safety in and around the cabin and property
Midweek is Monday to Thursday
Weekend is Friday to Sunday
Subject to availability
All cabins have a 2 minimum night stay

Cancellation

For early departures prior to your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise
For changes made at least 30 days prior to arrival, there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule or receive a gift voucher for the full amount.
For changes made 29-15 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
For cancellations made within 15 days prior to arrival, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.

Weather

The cabin is a great place to be during the warmer and cooler months and even when it rains! During wet or poor weather, guests may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, there will be a place to park your vehicle/s in any alternative nominated wet weather zones.

Dress Code

Please ensure you have sensible footwear for the hike to the cabin.

Location

This experience is located in Oberon, NSW. The Vera cabin sits on the traditional land of the Daruk and Wiradjuri People. It is approximately two and a half hours' drive from Sydney. Please note there is a 680-metre hike from the car park to the cabin.

So amazing! Absolutely loved it.

Visited this accomodation over the weekend, and it was just unreal. It's a medium hike to the tinyhome but it's well worth it. It's super tucked away, with no reception which made it a perfect 2 nights of resetting.
