We chose a sharing menu, the 2 Course Steakhouse Lunch with Drink - For 2. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chicken was exactly how we like it, and both the appetizers and drinks were excellent. I would especially like to highlight Laura, a Spanish staff member who guided us throughout the experience. She explained everything clearly and was incredibly kind at all times. I truly believe that dining experiences become even more special when they are delivered by people like her. Thank you Laura! Making the booking and all correspondence was easy. Although we had a booking, due to public transport timetables, we arrived early which was no problem for staff as our table was available. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our red balloon voucher was for a set shared menu and drink each. Please see the photos of the food we received !!! The calamari was the most tender calamari I have ever eaten, the chicken skewer was awesome and the steak was to die for. I also ordered an extra beer and garlic bread, but the waitress waived these charges because they were busy and our main course was slightly delayed...... they informed us to allow 2 hours for the dining experience when the booking was made, we were done and dusted in 1 hour 45 minutes !!!!! ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 2 Course Steakhouse Lunch + Drinks - For 2 - Per KERRIE 5 March 2025 A nice venue, with pleasant Staff. A shared 2 course Menu with drinks. My husband chose a wine and I chose a soft drink. The shared Entree consisted of approx 5 small pieces of lightly fried Szechuan Calamari with a little cucumber, onion, lemon and nam jim sauce. Tasty. The shared mains- one was a grilled/basted Monte Grain Fed MB2+ Rump Eye 200g, which I requested Med/Well, but was definitely barely Med and quite tough, even with a Steak Knife. Disappointing. The other shared main was a Portugese Chicken Skewer, which was tasty. We chose to share the sides of crunchy chips and the small house salad. We could have ordered other dishes if we wished to go with it, but as it was lunch time we decided we wouldn't do so, but if people like a bigger meal at lunch time, I would suggest ordering extra dishes.
