Very disappointing

We were unhappy with the experience. The restaurant on its own was fine, very nice in fact, but we were told there was a special menu for Red Balloon customers. In other words a very limited menu. The voucher was worth $110 and when I asked if we could change the location of restaurant from Circular Quay to Bella Vista was told it would be another $10.09 which I had to pay before they would accept the reservation, so that totalled $120. When we arrived they took us to a tiny round table in the far corner wedged next to a giant column like we were 2nd class customers or possibly Red Balloon customers, we complained and they moved us to a better table. Overall extremely disappointing.

Loved our lunch celebration

We were so well looked after from the minute we got to the restaurant. Our lunch was to celebrate my husband's birthday and we got a nice booth in the corner. Our waiter was excellent and the food was delicious. Portions were just enough for two and we shared each course to try everything. The waiters even brought out a extra dessert and sang Happy Birthday. It was the perfect experience and can't wait to go again.

The red balloon voucher was a fantastic gift !

We were given a ref balloon voucher recently and we used it at the meat and wine co in bella vista on the weekend . Amazing service from both companies helping us celebrate my husbands 50 th birthday . I will definitely be considering red balloon to gift someone in the future and choose The Meat and Wine Co for a dining experience .
