★★★★★ ★★★★★ Nice but completely overpriced, breakfast was poor Danya 4 August 2025 We went to the Peninsula Hot Springs on the first day on the way to the hotel, arrived at around 12 on a Friday. We were shocked that the carpark was full and even the overspill carpark had barely any spaces left. Inside the hot springs it was pretty busy, but still enough space in general, but we never had an area to ourselves. We knew ahead of time that locker, robe and towel hire wasn't included - we took our own towels, skipped the robe hire and just paid for 1 locker between the 2 of us (an additional $10 to pay for this). It is disappointing that these services are additional costs, especially for having a safe place to store personal items whilst you enjoy the space, personally I think at least the locker hire should be included in the voucher. In general we spent a few hours changing between the saunas, ice cave, thermal pools and the cold plunge pool. We walked to the thermal pool on top of the hill but there was a queue for it and people were being kicked out every 10mins, not really worth it just for the view of the fields so we turned around and went to the other pools on the hillside. Overall we had a relaxing time and felt refreshed after visiting the hot springs. The Quarters reception staff are lovely and checked us in quickly, they are even arranging the return of my dresses that I accidentally left in the room! The room itself was exactly as pictured, big bed and bathroom, plenty of storage space and room for luggage. The biggest disappointment was the "continental breakfast" included in the voucher experience. This was a tray in our room that had some juice, a piece of fruit and the world's driest looking muesli with UHT milk. Having seen previous reviews raving about a lovely cooked breakfast, we were very disappointed in what was on offer. The staff did explain that about 8months ago the deal with Flinders Hotel Bar had finished and they no longer provided the cooked breakfasts for the voucher experience. We ended up going to a local cafe to have breakfast so again this was an additional cost on top of the voucher. Having checked prices online for hot springs entry, a night at Quarters Hotel and a nominal amount for the "continental breakfast" I believe the voucher costs is too high, perhaps when a cooked breakfast was on offer the price would have been fair. I suggest the offer be reviewed and perhaps breakfast could be balanced by the provision of a locker and towels/robes to provide value for money. We also had a great stay at the quarters at flinders , however when it said it included breakfast I would not say what we recieved was what we were expecting . We recieved some fruit , juice and cereal Which looked like bird seed. I would expect breakfast to be a hot breakfast … or even a bread option … that was disappointing .
