Just 40 minutes' drive from Perth CBD and you will find the beautiful Upper Reach Winery, located in the famous Swan Valley wine region. Your informative wine 101 class is held in the barrel room and hosted by a knowledgable in-house expert. Over 90 minutes you will be taken through the ins and outs of wine tasting, learning about their processes from grape to bottle as you sip on a selection of estate-made wines. You'll even have the chance to play the winemaker as you create your own wine, balancing the sweetness and acidity. Afterwards, relax and unwind over a delicious two course lunch overlooking the vines. Perfect for beginners and wine enthusiasts alike.

No time limit for lunch booking in the restaurant

Participants must be 18 years and older; ID may be required
Please advise of dietary requirements at the time of booking
The provider reserves the right to refuse guests who we believed to be affected by alcohol or drugs for the safety of all guests. Full tickets will be forfeited under these circumstances and no refund will be provided
Transfer of tickets to an alternative date will incur a $15 transfer fee per ticket

We really enjoyed our wine appreciation class and lunch at Upper Reach Winery in Baskerville WA. Laura, owner of Upper Reach welcomed us and told of how they came to be. Then Lauren, took us through the tastings of the different wines and looking for the flavours in them The class was then followed by an absolutely beautiful lunch in a perfect setting. We would highly recommend this.

The views were beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and helpful it made the experience lovely. The food was very nice and the service was fantastic we had a wonderful day and enjoyed every minute.

Our presenter for the course was very witty and entertaining so this made it a lot of fun as well as being very informative. The lunch to follow was beautifully presented and the taste matched up to the presentation. The view overlooking the vines was so very relaxing. I would highly recommend this experience at the hidden gem of a winery. You won’t regret it!!
