Feel like you're living in a postcard during this fairytale scenic flight over the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef. Departing from Airlie Beach, you'll soar through the clouds and admire many of the 74 islands from above and the world-famous Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet.

Gaze in awe at the brilliant hues of blue and turquoise in the waters and the iconic swirling white silica sands from an unparalleled perspective. Continue out to the Great Barrier Reef to one of the most photographed reef locations, Heart Reef. The comfortable fixed wing aircraft boasts big window viewing meaning you won't miss a thing.

Flights operate every day except for Christmas Day
Departs 7am, 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2.30pm

Full names and exact weights per passenger must be advised when booking due to flight weight availability.

Not recommended for pregnant women, the elderly or participants with bad back problems
A signed release will be required from all participants on departure
For legal and safety reasons all passengers are weighed prior to boarding. Maximum per seat weight is 125 kgs
Please note if you are travelling to the Whitsundays on a cruise ship, the timings of this experience do not align with the visiting cruise ship schedule

Thoroughly enjoyed the flight and Bronwyn the pilot was very knowledgeable of the area. It was so good to be able to see the Whitsundays by air and the heart reef did not disappoint

This experience was so much fun!! The guides were incredible (sorry I’ve forgotten your names but you flew on 26/7). You guys were informative and funny but also ensured we all got our $$ worth for the trip. The pilot flew the plane over each site so that both sides of the plane got a good view and the chance for a photo. The time went so quick because as we flying the guides we’re talking about where we were going next and we were also whale watching. Lucky enough to spot a whale and it’s baby calf.

Flying over the whitsundays is the way I fell in live with this region. The team at ocean rafting made it so memorable and they’re super informative and friendly. I only wish I had also booked the rafting day too!
