The restaurant is not your ordinary steakhouse. When you taste the food you can tell that it is quality. The staff were kind and always willing to help and it was a nice atmosphere in there. Terrific experience overall.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic too, but there was way too much food for two people. The lovely waitress suggested take the ribs home as they are even better the next day, so we did!

I was a bit worried when presented with the set menu for the Red Balloon voucher, but I had nothing to worry about, the meal was fantastic. Garlic breads, entrees, an amazing main course of rib-eye steak, fillet steak and pork ribs, 3 different side dishes and sauces and then along came dessert. A bottle of wine was also included, Service was terrific, this voucher was a gift to me, and I will certainly buy one as a valuable gift to someone else! We went to the Meat & Wine Co in South Yarra in Melbourne

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at the Meat and Wine Co South Yarra last night. The staff were so friendly, tentative and helpful. The food was amazing from the garlic bread to the dessert. So much food and so beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommend this experience.

We had a 3 course meal which was all perfectly cooked and presented. However we had a chipped glass. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine which neither of us drink so we asked for beer and champagne which we shouldn't of had to pay for or pay for and get a bottle of wine to take with us. But definitely compliments to the chief.
