Only less than an hour from central Sydney, the northern beaches are abuzz with a vast array of bird species, making it the perfect location for a spot of birdwatching. Equipped with high quality binoculars, a bird book and apps, and led by a professional birdwatching guide, you will explore the Chiltern Trail, classic Aussie bushland and Warriewood Wetlands, swamp mahogany wetlands, on the hunt for birds. As you wander, expect to hear and observe between 40-60 different birds, boasting striking colours and sizes. Perfect for any level of birdwatcher.

Excellent tour learning

Bird watching with Mike in the morning was fascinating given we covered diverse terrain and saw many interesting and different types of birds. Starting on the beach we also covered rocky terrain and later entered some watery forested areas. Being new to bird watching I have a lot to learn regarding the different species but Mike gave me a sound introduction. Mike was very observant and he has plenty of knowledge of birds. I learned a lot from his tour and also I discovered some areas of Sydney that I have never been to. Highly recommended
