This experience is three hours in duration
Available daily from October to May each year
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure

Restrictions

Guests who can not swim will not be permitted to enter the water, this is for your safety and enjoyment.

Guidelines

It is recommended that you book at least one week in advance of your preferred date
You do not have to be an expert swimmer however you must be able to swim; the expert guides will ensure you are comfortable and safe at all times in the water

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 participants. There is never more than 10 people in the water at any one time with the dolphins.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider.

Dress Code

You will need to bring your swimmers and a towel. All snorkelling gear, wetsuits, change rooms and shower facilities are provided.

Seal & Dolphin swim

We had a good time on this tour. Our first booking got cancelled due to windy conditions but we were able to rebook the same week since we were staying down at the peninsula. Some nice food wraps are provided and also tea/hot chocolate, plus some banana bread. Unfortunately on our tour, we did not get to swim with the dolphins. I need to enquire about rebooking since only saw a pod from afar. But there was a calf present so we were not allowed to go in with them. We did enjoying swimming with the seals. We spent quite some time in the water with them, and you can get up quite close to them. They are very gentle and playful in the water, beautiful to watch. The staff were really nice to chat to and we learnt lots on our trip. Still slightly disappointed we did not swim with the dolphins

Moonraker Swim with Dolphins and Seals

Wonderful experience for all ages. We had youngsters through to pensioners on the tour, the kids thrilled to be in the water so close to these animals, the adults scarcely less so. Swimming amongst the seals was a treat. So many and they swim around or under you happily. So exciting to see dolphins so gracefully and powerfully swimming beneath you and near the boat. And we found Weedy Sea Dragons! The tour was well organised and the staff well trained, friendly and helpful. Wetsuits, flippers goggles and snorkels for all, floatation jackets and noodles available for those less confident at swimming. The food was good and hot drinks available at all times. And this company does honour it's guarantee! Recommend this tour to anyone.

This experience was unforgettable, the whole team made us feel so special. They were so helpful and accommodating, so up close and personal with the animals was a dream come true, will definitely be doing this again.

Seals were a highlight and you get quite close to them. A lot of work needed on the guest experience. Basic things not explained and some staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Be aware the amenities on the boat are more basic than described

Although we were unlucky with the dolphins, we enjoyed a fabulous trip, swimming around the seals and snorkelling over the leafy sea dragons. And with the option to return to try again to see the dolphins, we are looking forward to another trip soon!

We were greeted cheerfully and helped to select and fit the wetsuits and flippers, and the experience only got better! Every member of the crew was helpful, attentive and courteous. Our safety was their main concern, they supervised entry and exit from the water and positioned the boat so we could see the dolphins and seals. I felt that here were eyes watching me to keep me safe. The weather was perfect and we saw these sleek animals playing around us. Thanks yu to all the crew.

Great day out went swimming with the seals but then we found dolphins but they wouldnt come anywhere near the boat. By the way the tour operators were acting it seems like its pretty rare to actually have the dolphins swim with you which was kind of misleading as it seemed like this was the main part

The first part swimming with the seals was unbelievable. What an unforgettable experience. From there it went downhill. Could not swim with dolphins as they had a baby, which is understandable. Could hardly see them from the boat as we were quite far away from them. Was told you get complimentary hot drinks and morning tea. We got no morning tea and they ran out of hot water so we did not get a hot drink either. Toilets also do not lock.
