Lace up and have some frosty fun at this ice skating rink smack bang in the middle of the perpetually warm and sunny Surfers Paradise! You'll have 90 minutes to skate around the rink illuminated by under-ice lighting, or if you're a beginner you can hop on an adorable fibreglass penguin.
Even during the wintertime, the Gold Coast's temperatures are reasonably mild, meaning lovers of the cold miss out on typical winter antics. Snow bunnies fret not as you can now live out your winter wishes at this awesome ice skating rink in the heart of Surfers Paradise! You'll have 90 minutes to carve up the ice on skates, or if you're a beginner there are fibreglass penguins to help you keep on your feet. With the added extras of funky music, a disco ball and under-ice lighting, your session does not hold back on the fun. So throw on your winter woolies and escape the heat or do something different on a rainy day!
Maximum of 40 skaters are allowed on the ice in any session.
Spectators do not have to pay to enter Planet Chill, you only pay if you are skating.
It is recommended to wear long pants and bring a jumper. Socks are also required and must be worn with the skates.
