Experience one of the most thrilling motor sports out there, get behind the wheel of a Turbo WRX Rally Car. Discover the secrets of this awesome car, get sideways and have a load of fun on a specially designed rally track.

What's included?

18 driving laps + 1 extreme hot lap, driven by a professional race car driver
Helmet, race suit and intercom are provided
Refreshments are available for you and your guests

Your day will start when you arrive at at the specially designed race track where you will run through a race briefing and make sure that you are familiar the cars and the experience that is ahead of you. When you’re ready you'll meet your race instructor and then get strapped into a race prepared Subaru WRX rally car, then you're off! Drive 18 blistering laps getting more familiar with the track and car after each one. Your race instructor will give you constant guidance throughout the experience ensuring that you will be driving faster and faster each lap, and improving your technique with each one. Your aim is to make your last lap the fastest. At the end of your laps let the pro take control of the wheel for a turbo-charged hot lap.

Take home in-car go-pro footage of your laps available at extra cost.

Important information

Session Length

You need to allow 3 hours at the track depending on the final numbers in your group.

Morning session 8.30am – 12.30pm.

Afternoon session 12.30pm – 4.30pm.

Selected weekends only

Guidelines

Minimum age is 12 years, no licence required
All passengers and drivers are required to sign a waiver of liability form
Max weight is 150kg and maximum height is 20

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum group size is ten people

Spectators

You are welcome to bring spectators with you to watch you drive.
It is advisable they bring along refreshments as there are no catering facilities at the

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
If your experience is cancelled you will be rescheduled by the provider

Dress Code

You will be supplied with overalls and helmet but you will get a little dusty
You need to wear closed in shoes.

This experience takes place in Ipswich - 40 minutes South West of Brisbane.

Overpriced and overrated

I got this as a gift for my partners birthday as he loves everything to do with cars.. Overall he enjoyed it, but as the person who purchased the experience I was quite disappointed with what I saw. They advertise as if you're doing some serious off roading driving, but in reality when you get there it's a pretty basic dirt track. Honestly as a spectator I had to laugh every time my partner drove past because he was forced to go so slow. We wanted to make a video out of it but the footage was appalling with how little action was going on. Understandably you're not allowed to push the car the entire time but for god's sake let them have a little fun out there, I was expecting to see some drifting and dirt flying. For the price I paid I expected a lot more from this, and I felt disappointed for my partner because I was so excited to gift him this but it was such a let down.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Very professional driving teachers to guide you every step of the way. This was an all round amazing experience and I highly recommend doing 18 laps at off road rush!

Had a fun time the track was very wet because of showers. That just made it more fun. The staff were excellent and cars were fun to drive.

Heaps of fun. Challenging track for beginners but plenty of room to make mistakes. 2 sessions gives you time to think about what to do better on the second run. The hot lap was a blast.

We were all very worried when we showed up as we didn't really know what to expect, but everyone there was so friendly and were more than happy to help. The drivers guided us around the track each time giving advice of what gear to be in when to brake etc. All in all was a great day :)
