Ever wanted to create great sculptures for your home or garden? This is truly a unique experience and is so simple. Within one day, you'll acquire all of the skills and confidence to create an amazing stone sculpture you can be proud to take home and put on display!

Why not join the 1000's of people who have discovered their artistic outlet in these fun-filled, one-day workshops! Past students have been truly amazed at what can be created in just a day. All the tools and materials are provided for you along with lots of guidance to help you create your own amazing sculpture - ready to take home at the end of the class!

Your day will start at 9am with a quick introduction and then it's on to the fun stuff! You will mix all of the components used to make the sculpture material and then go through all the practical information on how to design your sculpture. Don't worry if you don't have a creative bone in your body, as your tutor will have lots of ideas to get you started.

After a break for lunch (not included), you will start working on your sculpture and by mid afternoon, your new masterpiece will be completed and ready to take home. Your completed sculpture is suitable for indoor use or even as an outdoor sculpture in the garden! No firing or special finishing is required and your sculpture will last a lifetime.

Important information

Session Length

One full day Workshop.
Session start at 9:30am with brief introduction and material preparation.
Workshop finish at 3:30pm with photos and preparing the finish sculpture for transportation.

Suitable for people 14 years and older
Suitable for beginners
This is a great medium for complete beginners or even people who have sculptured in other mediums previously

Cancellation

Cancellations of your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience.
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The price quoted is for one person. Classes operate with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 14 people. In the event that minimum numbers are not met, the provider reserves the right to reschedule your experience for a later date.

Spectators

Casual visit are allowed but spectators cannot stay the whole day or for extended amount of time. Maximum 15 minutes.

Weather

This experience is not affected by the weather, however, it can get cold at some of the venues and it is advised you to bring something warm to wear.

Dress Code

This experience can be messy. Your clothes will get dirty, so a smock or apron is advisable. For safety reasons, please wear closed shoes. Sandals and open footwear is unsuitable and should not be worn.

Other Info

All tools and materials needed for the day are provided. Lunch is not included, so please bring your own. A cafe is available on site for you to purchase refreshments if you prefer.

Something different - in a good way

Such a good day out. My wife and I were bought the sculpting day as a gift - didn't really know what to expect as neither of us thought we were creative. I'm still not but we've discovered my wife is. Robert is an excellent teacher (+ storyteller) and a good guy to be around. He was patient, made suggestions and gave guidance where needed. He and his wife were the key to the day and we'd definitely go back.

An inspiring and creative experience

The course I attended was very informative, creative and very therapeutic. Robert was very informative and assisted when there was any form of "creative block". He was also very accomodating in booking a time for the experience. I really enjoyed the day and my children, who gave me the experience as a present were very surprised at the well formed sculpture I brought home.

Just finished an amazing day sculpting with Robert, he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful in teaching me how to sculpt. I sent Robert a pic of a Welsh Dragon that I wanted to give to my wife, never thinking that I would be able to take that picture and turn it into a reality. But Robert made it happen! Check out the final sculpture below. Thanks Again Robert and Nolly for a fantastic day!

Had a great time learning and creating my sculpture. Robert and Nolly are very knowledgeable and gave us tips on how to create the sculptures we wanted :) Loved that we were able to practice on a little prototype too before we carved out the real thing. My sculpture is now happily sitting in my garden :) Great class even for those who don't consider themselves very 'artistic'.

My son and daughter gifted me a voucher for soft stone sculpting which i used today.. Robert (teacher) and his wife Nolly were great hosts. Robert explained everything we needed to do in easy to understand language with great tips on how to make our sculpture the best. The day was well organised and timed to perfection. I had the best day.

What a wonderful way to spend the day. I never thought that I'd be able to create a sculpture, let alone in just one day. Robert was very knowledgeable and obviously loves his craft. He was patient and helped me to explore my idea and bring it to life.

I received a gift voucher and was a little nervous as I wasn't convinced I could create something. Robert and Nolly were amazing. They took us through the process step by step. It was sooo fun and definitely doable. Robert and Nolly were always ready to assist when needed and always so encouraging. It was such a unique gift and will stay with me forever.
