Experience an immersive Muscat Blending Masterclass at the family-owned and run Stanton & Killeen Winery. Learn all about the winemaking process of Muscat and then have a go at creating your very own. Take it home in a 500ml bottle with a custom label to share with friends or family.

Dive into the world of blending and winemaking at Stanton and Killen Winery. Youâ€™ll begin your experience with a guided tour of the original 19th Century winery, where your guide will share the knowledge and history behind the winery, the seven generations of the Stanton & Killeen family as well as the fortified casks that line the tour path. Enjoy sipping through the Rutherglen Muscat classification throughout, learning about the different styles and ages of the Rutherglen, Classic, Grand and Rare Muscats. Next, put your newfound knowledge to the test and have a go at blending your very own Muscat, testing different ratios and tasting four different Muscat parcels. Once you're happy with it, the team will bottle it up in a 500ml bottle with a custom label for you to take home and share with friends or family! Or, keep your tasty concoction all to yourself!

Didn't take very long and was not very informative

It was a fun experience but there wasn't much to do and it only took about 45 minutes. Definitely NOT the 2 hours mentioned. I would have liked to know more about options for Muscat but I suppose it is quite simple and it was quick.

Magical Muscat Masterclass

Very enjoyable time spent blending muscats. The team at Stanton &Killeen are friendly, helpful and a source of great knowledge.. We started with a enjoyable stroll around the casks, sampling the different muscats, learning some of the history, and the amongst the casks we were led to a table with all the paraphernalia required to blend a Muscat for each of us. Blending the different ages together and working out how they change the taste profile is fascinating, and with a lot of trial and error, and some science we both ended up with a bottle that suited our particular tastes to take home. I would recommend this experience to anyone who likes wine and/or fortifieds as it is great fun, and run by a wonderful team.
