This 2.5-hour stand up paddle board tour takes you to one of three beautiful creek locations in the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Embark on a cultural journey as you paddle to significant spots, learning about the local Gumbaynggirr people. You'll also have the chance to taste seasonal bush tucker.

Journey into the beautiful Solitary Islands Marine Park, the homelands of the Gumbaynggirr tribal nation, where you will connect to the land and water through stories and language. This 2.5-hour guided stand up paddle board tour takes you to one of three beautiful creek locations - Coffs Creek, Moonee Creek or Red Rock Creek - where you will learn about the Gumbaynggirr dreamtime stories, follow and engage in their language, and sample and collect seasonal bush foods. Stop to enjoy a tasty morning tea of fresh fruits at an iconic resting place and learn about native bush medicines and foods. Your participation in the tour also makes a contribution back to the community.

This experience is part of the Responsible range because they are ECO certified by Ecotourism Australia.

Session Length

This experience is 2.5 hours in duration
Available seven days a week, with tours running from 7am - 9:30am

This experience is not recommended for those under the age of three
The location of the tours change daily - tide depending
No fitness level or experience is required

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of six and maximum of 15.

Weather

In the event that the experience provider has to cancel due to bad weather, you will be rescheduled with the experience provider directly.

Dress Code

Swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and protective clothing.

This is a really terrific program, and Clark Webb and his team are excellent. It was so good that we booked in to do a second session with Wajaana Yaam Adventure Tours a couple of days later.

Must Do Cultural Experience

Me and my 10 year old son were looking for something different to do over Christmas while in Coffs Harbour and I am so glad I found this experience. My son is indigenous and I love being able to help him explore his culture and this tour certainly impressed us. It was not only an adventure and a great way to enjoy the water and scenery but the guide was also full of knowledge and information which he was more then happy to share with us along the journey. We saw stingrays and had an absolute ball out on the paddle boards. Highly recommend giving this experience a go.
