Dive in at the deep end for the ultimate test of your nerves with this thrilling underwater guided tour that allows you to explore SEA LIFE Sydney's four million litre Oceanarium in full scuba equipment. You'll come face-to-face with grey nurse sharks, seven-gill sharks, giant stingrays and an abundance of exotic fish during this dive, with fully qualified instructors there to ensure you get the absolute most from this exhilarating, never-to-be-forgotten experience. Suitable for both certified and non-certified divers, your experience will begin with an Introduction to Scuba Diving briefing and pool skills session prior to you taking the plunge and will conclude with an afternoon theory class where you can reflect on just how energising and uplifting your dive left you feeling.
The below is a list of medical conditions that may prohibit you from taking part in the Shark Dive for your own safety: Asthma Heart Disease Epilepsy Diabetes Chest Conditions including Pneumothorax Sinus Conditions Ear problems/surgery High blood pressure Pregnancy (pregnant women are not permitted to dive) Please make sure you read and complete the medical questionnaire & clearance form before booking. Each session runs with a maximum of five people.
The water temperature will remain at approximately 21 degrees Celcius all year around.
A towel and bathers are all that is required. If you have your own mask and full-length wetsuit please feel free to bring them along.
Underwater photos and video footage are available for purchase at an additional cost.
