Forget bikes, rollerblades, scooters and skateboards, SEGWAYS are the latest invention in outdoor transport. It is quite possibly the coolest machine in the world.

With two large wheels, a foot board and handlebars, you will be amazed at how much fun you will have zipping around in your battery powered electric vehicle. Each tour group is a small group of 6 ensuring you get a personal experience and before you head for the hills, you will receive one-on-one training with one of the friendly tour guides. This reassures even the most anxious participants so you can start having fun the minute you take the controls.

On this experience you will enjoy 1 hour 30min of ride time (plus 30min on-Segway training/instructions) and zip along a fantastic route designed for maximum segway, non-stop riding fun. Cruise along Brisbane River from West End, through Kurilpa Park, glide through pretty South Bank beach and scoot over scenic Goodwill Bridge and explore The City Botanical Gardens. This experience is perfect for locals and those completely new to Brisbane; for parents, children, oldies, friends, couples and anyone with a sense of adventure and fun.

Rider Weight under 120 kg (264 lbs). Suitable for age 12-87 years (Guests under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian).

Guidelines

Not recommended for participants with mobility or motor control issues. If you are concerned about mobility issues please contact the experience provider
Not suitable for pregnant women, those with requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail
Alcohol consumption prior/during the experience is forbidden
Weight over 40 kg (88 lbs) and under 120 kg (264 lbs). Suitable for age 12-89 years (Guests under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian)

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 8 guests per tour.

Weather

Segway experiences will operate in all weather conditions including rain. The only exception is severe winds or lightning. Guests are advised if rescheduling is required.

Dress Code

Sand shoes, sneakers or closed in shoes required. No thongs, flip flops, sandals or high heals.

The 2 tour guides were immediately welcoming and friendly, spent time to introduce everyone to the machines and ensured the more nervous people were well looked after. The trip had a great view and was a fun time. Would certainly reccomend.

Loved our Segway Joy Ride, Tea gave us clear instructions and warnings and kept an eye on us all along the way, couldn't wipe the smile off our faces. Thoroughly recommend Kangaroo Segway Tours, best way to see Southbank.

My wife and I had a great time cruising around Brisbane's Southbank and Botanical Gardens. The segways were very intuitional to ride and after a few minutes felt very natural. They are very easy to control and certainly beat walking! Our guide / instructor was pleasant and helpful. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting a safe and interensting adventure in Brisbane.
