Tick off Hobart in a day on this guided scenic coach tour taking in Mt Wellington, the Cascade Brewery, Salamanca, Richmond and the Tasman Bridge. Stop by for a tasting at Wicked Cheese, before doing one or both: world-class art at Mona or hand-feeding kangaroos at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.
Hit up the best of Hobart on this one day guided tour. Loop the city on a scenic drive, taking in historic Salamanca Wharf, the Cascade brewery, Tasman Bridge, colonial streets, Parliament House, Constitution Dock and more. From atop Mt Wellington, swoon at the bird's eye views of Hobart and the south. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Bruny Island.
Saturday tours include a stop at Salamanca Markets. Otherwise, you'll head straight to the historic town of Richmond for a tour of its colonial past, Georgian buildings, and a gander at Australia's oldest Roman Catholic Church and oldest bridge still in use. Refuel at Wicked Cheese with a tasting, before embarking on the final leg of the day. Visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, home to kangaroos, emus, wombats and the rare Tasmanian Devil. Alternatively, experience world-class modern art at Mona. If time allows, do both and get the fast ferry back to town.
