Jump on board a beautiful 58-foot yacht and sail to one of Magnetic Island's secluded bays. Explore the beach or enjoy a swim or just relax while a locally sourced grazing platter is being prepared for you and only a few other guests.

Jump on board with only a few other guests for a gentle sail to one of the beautiful bays of Magnetic Island. This four-hour sailing cruise will take you to a protected bay where the anchor will be dropped. While a delicious barbecue lunch is prepared, you can explore the beach or relax on board or play or chill on the giant inflatable mat. Your lunch includes locally caught prawns, an antipasto platter and freshly baked baguette served with wine, beer or soft drinks. The 58 foot yacht, Pilgrim, is perfect for all ages. It is large, stable and comfortable with two deep cockpits. If you're interested in sailing or learning to sail, your hosts will love to get you involved and teach you a bit too so your whole family will be entertained.

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

There will be a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum 12 guests

Weather

Subject to favorable weather conditions. In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. There is plenty of space below and an awning on deck in the case of rain. If conditions are extreme and are not conducive to a great day out: A full refund or reschedule (if possible) will be available if the skipper cancels the event due to extreme weather.

Casual comfortable clothes are recommended.

MAGNIFICENT sailing lunch cruise Magnetic Island

If I could give 6 stars I would !!! An absolute pleasure & wonderful experience. Superb sailing boat, highly experienced crew & first class quality food & beverages served with friendliness & catering to all needs. The gem that is Magnetic Island is showcased during this relaxing journey around the island with stunning views. Swimming is available for those wanting to dive off the boat or floating mat whilst anchored off the breathtaking beaches. Our memorable experience included family ranging in age from 4 months to late sixties - suitable & welcoming to all. Do yourself a well deserved favour & sail away around Magnetic Island on a lunch cruise with Pilgrim Sailing.

A perfect way to see some of Magnetic Island. The sailing was great fun, swimming in the bay relaxing, the local produce sourced for our lunch was just delicious. Our crew Clayton & Clem were wonderful. We wanted to book another trip the very next day!!

Sailing on The Pilgrim around Magnetic Island

Our experience of Sailing around Magnetic Island with Pilgrim Sailing was nothing but excellent. Once on board The Pilgrim, the crew introduced themselves and gave us a short but informative talk about safety on the yacht, we then got underway and sailed to Radical Bay where we anchored and were able to swim, snorkel or just relax on the floating mat alongside the yacht. A magnificent lunch of seafood and antipasto was served along with some drinks from the bar. The crew, Clayton and Clem were very polite, informative and extremely competent.

The best thing we did on our trip was to go on the Pilgrim Sailing Lunch Cruise. The boat was fab with lots of lovely comfortable spots to enjoy the views and the sail. Clare and Calyton were amazing hosts, always checking that we were comfortable and were topped up with drinks! The bay they took us to was stunning, and the lunch platter they served up was incredible. I couldn't recommend this cruise enough and we will definitely do it again when we go back to Magnetic Island in the future.
