A truly elegant sailing experience in The Whitsundays; this is the perfect way to see the iconic Whitehaven Beach. Your small adults only group will set sail on pristine waters and you can get as involved in the activity as you want; you can host the sails or kick your shoes off and sit back, enjoying the breeze and the views. The Lady Enid is a rare Australian yacht and its crew are outstanding. They will make sure your day goes swimmingly and are attentive to your needs throughout the day. You'll be served both morning and afternoon tea, You'll also receive a gourmet lunch, fresh fruit and a glass of sparkling wine and antipasto at sunset.

You'll visit Whitehaven Beach and enjoy a guided bush walk to Hill Inlet. Become lost in a tropical paradise, unlike anywhere else in the world. The mix of rainforest and beach will amaze you. You might even be lucky enough to spot native wildlife. After Whithaven immerse yourself with the marine life and beautiful coral formations while snorkelling the island reefs.

Session Length

Passengers board the yacht at 8:00am
The yacht returns at approximately 6.00pm

Guidelines

A certain level of mobility is required for stepping off the yacht into a dinghy and onto the beach
This is an adults only tour. You must be 18 years old to participate in this tour

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

A minimum of 8 passengers are required for this experience to proceed. There is a maximum of 24 passengers.

Weather

The experience provider reserves the right to alter the destination pending the weather for your safety and comfort. The experience provider will offer alternative days or full refunds in the event of cancellations within 24 hours of the experience's scheduled start time.

Dress Code

Wear comfortable clothing you can be active in. Wear swimwear as there are beach trips on this tour. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. Bring a light jacket for the sail home. You'll need to bring a warm jacket in the colder months. You will be asked to take your shoes off prior to boarding the yacht, however you will need them for the bushwalk. It is recommended to wear runners/sneakers.

Whitehaven Beach experience generally operates every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with some blockout dates.

Really amazing experience ! The yacht was beautiful, whitehaven beach was amazing, plentiful foods and a nice glass of wine. Staff were friendly and chatty. Could have been a little more energetic in knowing/providing fun facts and info about the islands and animals. Very big day but loads of fun :)

A memorable birthday gift made better by a great crew, delicious lunch and nibblies while motorsailing to the breath taking Whitehaven beach. The view from the lookouts is truly marvellous. We were taken safely by dinghy to and from the beach where we started our walk to the lookouts, then down for a dip with the turtles. Back for snorkelling in Hook Passage, again with our trusty crew keeping an eye on us. The island scenery and beautiful weather made for a perfect day, and although the weather wasn't much good for sailing, it was very comfortable lounging around on deck, up front, or in the cosy cockpit area. Learnt heaps about the area from Skipper and crew making for a truly great day.

Currently sitting on the deck, looking out and admiring the beautiful calm water. Today (so glad it's not over yet) has been beyond my expectations. I have had THE most memorable day on the boat of Lady Enid. The crew has been so wonderful and cheerful. The service, food, people on the boat etc etc. You could tell how the crew took their job with passion and wanted to give everyone the best experience possible. One of my most memorable experience for sure and everyone who is considering taking a tour, please give this one a go- you are going to love it!
