Be introduced to the fascinating processes from sugar cane to glass on this three hour rum distilling experience at JimmyRum Distillery. Standing as the only dedicated rum distillery in Victoria, JimmyRum is currently crafting many different types of rum and developing styles like; dark, oaked, spiced, apple, and pinot. Learn how the distillery came to be before a guided distillation run on their 50 litre trial still. Excite all your sense as you taste how the flavour of the spirit changes throughout the distilling process. After completing a full distillation run together, sample the current range of JimmyRum spirits and learn about their distinctive flavours and uses. Taste the diversity of rum through an additional unique tasting of rums from around the world. Then, be taken on a behind the scenes tour of the workings of the distillery and take home a 50ml bottle of rum. Prepare for some serious flavours and rum knowledge!

Participants must be 18 years and over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Casual dress and closed toe shoes. Can get cold in winter so rug up!

Rum lovers - don't miss this!

Had a fantastic time learning about the history, science and flavours of rum! We were to be able to watch the entire distillation process and take home a small bottle of white rum (divided amongst the group). We were also provided a bite to eat at the conclusion of the tour. All in all - great value and a great experience!
