This luxury bed and breakfast is located just outside the historic country town of Pinjarra, on 5 acres of rural countryside on the Murray River, just 45 minutes south of Perth. The luxury suites are purpose built and set away from the homestead, thereby ensuring total privacy. Stay in and relax in the luxury accommodation or enjoy one of the numerous activities available on the property such as tennis, kayaking, fishing, boules or croquet.

Riverside retreat

Wonderful 2 nights at this accommodation. Both Steve and his wife were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful breakaway nestled in the country. 3 course meal (optional) was delicious and gave a homely warmth feel to our stay.

Weekend Away

I brought this for an anniversary gift for my partner to have some time away in more of a local area. It was absolutely beautiful overall, a great spot to get away from home. The room was lovely overall and had a cool selection of older board games. We took advantage of the free activities, such as tennis and golf and enjoyed it. The facilities were decent. We did go to the Zoo which was a 5 minute drive up the road. The food was incredible! Hugely recommend Steve's cooking, there was plenty of food to keep our tummys full. I believe that this place can suit for everyone with different ages, something I do feel as important as it can be target for more older people however was amazing overall.

We stayed over the weekend, what a beautiful and relaxing experience. In a tranquil setting Liz and Steve are wonderful hosts. Steve’s cooking is amazing!!!! Definitely recommend it to everyone.

This retreat is simply gorgeous. Steve and Liz are.so beautiful and pay attention to all the little details. If you just need to get away and truely relax in a beautiful country setting. This is the place to go ... Definitely take them up on a personally cooked 3 course dinner that the tailor to your tastes and make everything from scratch.

Absolutely fantastic. Liz and Steve were wonderful hosts. This is your very own 5 star experience of what a game reserve in Africa must be like. Steve’s food was incredible, and highly recommend taking advantage of the 3 course evening meal option - everything is personalised and hospitality is to die for (as well as Steve’s incredible chocolate tart!!). The breakfast basket and turndown service was a very nice touch. The property is fantastic with lots of African inspired details from their time in Kenya. We loved it and have told everyone we know how beautiful it is at this hidden gem in Pinjarra! You will not regret it.

We had the most relaxing time. The owners are so welcoming and generous, we could tell they put in so much love and care into their B&B. We stayed 2 nights, enjoyed a lovely breakfast with handmade pastries both days with lots of other brekky options. The suite is well equipped with a spa in the bathroom. We went for a leisurely kayaking down the river on our second day and ended our last night with a scrumptious meal that was handmade by Steven and delivered by him and his wife Liz, who set up the table in our room beautifully. The dinner was made to suit our dietary requirements, accompanied by a fresh salad and a delicious dessert. We'd highly recommend this experience for a couple or even a family getaway.

The Lazy River B&B is a great place to unwind for a few days. Our hosts made us feel welcome and looked after us extremely well with delicious 3 course dinners delivered to our apartment via a golf buggy, accompanied by 2 well behaved dogs and a peacock named George! The breakfast hampers were also very generous. Being situated on the Murray River was a bonus as it's a very peaceful place for a leisurely paddle.

Our hosts were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The chalet is very quiet and secluded with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. We opted for a three course home cooked meal on our first night which was absolutely delicious and prepared by the hosts according to our dietary requirements. Overall it was very relaxing and somewhere I would definitely recommend.
