Get ready to send the dust flying! You will drive eight laps in a Subaru WRX around the rally circuit, challenging yourself to beat your personal best with every lap. Then, jump into the passenger seat and feel the ultimate thrill as a professional driver takes you for one hot lap.

What's included?

Eight drive laps in a WRX Turbo rally car
One hot lap with a professional driver
Helmet, race suit and intercom

Your day will start with a race briefing to make sure that you are familiar with both the cars and the experience that is ahead of you. When you're ready you will meet your race instructor and get strapped into a race-prepared Subaru WRX rally car. Then before you know it you're off, sitting behind the wheel for eight exhilarating laps. You'll get a real chance to become familiar with the track and car, receiving constant guidance from your expert instructor throughout the drive. Challenge yourself to go faster and faster with each lap. After your rally experience ,it's time for the real thrill - you will get to jump in the passenger seat and experience a professional hot lap! Make sure you hold on tight as they won't hold back!

Important information

Session Length

Allow up to two hours at the track for your experience
There are both morning and afternoon sessions available
Morning sessions: 8:30am - 10.30am OR 10:30am - 12:30pm
Afternoon sessions: 12:30pm - 2:30pm OR 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Booking time will be confirmed by the experience provider
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to complete paperwork

Restrictions

A zero alcohol and drug policy for all drivers will be strictly adhered to.

Guidelines

All drivers must be 16 years or older and all passengers must be 10 years or older.
No driving licence is required
Maximum weight is 130kg and maximum height is 201cm
Participants are required to sign a waiver of liability form, parent or guardian to sign waiver for minors

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience unless extreme circumstances
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
Name changes are free of charge

Numbers on the Day

Maximum group size of 10 people.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome with great viewing of the race track. You are able to stay with the participant right up until their drive. There is a safe environment for kids with plenty of space for them to run around.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. A text message will be sent to the person who booked the experience. If the experience is cancelled, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider.

Dress Code

You will get a little dusty with this experience so keep that in mind!

Other Info

Photo packages are available for purchase on the day for $50. There are no canteen facilities available on site so feel free to bring your own food and drinks. There are no EFTPOS facilities on site so bring cash on the day for any additional purchases.

I was quite disappointed with the length of the track, my 8 laps was over in the blink of an eye. For the price charged I expected a whole lot more. There are basically two turns. The "rally" cars were stock WRXs with a cage and some suspension work. The 10 minutes of track time was not worth $250 + sitting around for an hour or two. They also didn't have me on their schedule even though I booked, so they managed to "fit me in". Would not recommend to anyone unless you get a rush really easily.

I had a great day with the team at Rush, we arrived to welcoming tea and coffee which was nice on this cold day. My instructor ran me through the paces first lap then let me do the rest from there ! Hit speeds upwards of 130kph in fourth gear. Great day for the whole family ! Thank you RUSH!!!

This is my 2nd time here at Colo Rally School & I have to say it is an amazing experience no matter how much driving experience you have as you always learn new skills and see how much vehicles limits can be pushed in certain situations. My favourite was the V8 Buggy & the Yamaha buggy it is a exhilaration on every lap.
