★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended Yum yum yum Queen VIC market is the best Julie 8 August 2024 What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning , sampling yummy food and finding out about the history of Queen Victoria Markets. A small group of 10 just right for a busy market . We got to try all different foods including oysters, smoked salmon, kangaroo and chicken, salami and cheese, olives and dips plus the world famous jam donuts which had a queue a mile long ( we skipped the queue ). At each stall we found out about the history also the workings of the market which was fascinating . Highly recommend you do this I will definitely do it again. Sarah, our tour guide, was amazing - warm, hospitable, and overflowing with interesting facts about the markets. We had no idea we would be eating as much as we did. The tastings were generous AND delicious. The mulled wine at the end was the perfect way to finish up our tour experience. Highly recommended whether you’re a local or from out of town.

Our tour guide, Sarah was fantastic, full of knowledge and very funny! She made sure that everyone enjoyed themselves and the 2 hours went quickly. We met some nice people on the tour and the venders we met were wonderful too. definitely recommend anyone who enjoys the history of Melbourne and good food to give this a go!
