Departing from Melbourne, you will journey east into the foothills the Dandenong Ranges for an enchanting ride on the century-old steam train, Puffing Billy. Maintained in immaculate condition, the iconic train still runs along the colonial tracks from Belgrave to Menzies Creek through the heart of the stunning Sherbrooke Forest. Nature truly puts on a show here as you pass by towering rainforests and beautiful fern gullies. Alighting from the train, you will then travel to the award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary. Here you will be able to truly immerse yourself in the animals world, enjoying a guided wildlife walk to meet and learn about an array of native Aussie characters including kangaroos, koalas, emus, wombats, quolls and Tasmanian devils.
Upon arrival to Phillip Island, you will visit Point Grant which boasts unparalleled views of The Nobbies and Seal Rocks whilst wandering along the coastal boardwalks. As the sun begins to set, it will be time for the main event, the Penguin Parade. Feel your heart burst with delight as you watch the adorable little penguins waddle ashore after a long day spent fishing out at sea. The phenomena is truly magical and unforgettable.
