Great service, atmosphere, cooking, presentation

The food tasted fantastic. As individual dishes, everything was terrific, and they were very friendly and quick, even though they were busy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. However, be aware that this is a set menu of 6 dishes almost entirely devoid of protein, fibre, or roughage. We did feel a bit over-carb'd afterwards. I would heavily suggest when you arrive asking if they'll let you swap the gnocchi for a massive salad to help wash it all down (don't know if they will, but worth a crack - otherwise pay the extra for a salad and don't finish the mains). Also, they were out of peppermint tea at the end of the meal which was a shame. But overall, lovely food in a great place.
