Travel with us from Hobart to the Tasman Peninsula, where the might of the Southern Ocean has carved spectacular caves and arches into solid rock. Meet Tassie’s coastline at its rugged finest. It’ll take your breath away.

Spend the morning walking along 300 metre high clifftops, pausing at majestic lookouts to watch giant waves crash against dolerite spires. Visit Pirates Bay, Waterfall Bay, Tasman Arch and the famous Devil’s Kitchen, ticking all the best views off the list.

Tasmanian Devils are carnivorous marsupials that can only be found in Tasmania. They look like a small bear and are just as feisty, with one of the most powerful bites in the animal kingdom. In this action-packed tour that features a trip to the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo, you’ll get up close and personal with these iconic critters in a snarling feeding frenzy!

You can also feed wallabies by hand, attend a Birds of the Bush presentation and learn about local wildlife from the Unzoo’s passionate staff, before heading off to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site. Port Arthur is up next, where impeccably preserved ruins offer a chilling glimpse of life as a Tasmanian convict. Spend four hours exploring this World Heritage open air museum, including a complimentary harbour cruise around the Isle of the Dead and fascinating site talks.

Our last stop is the unmissable Richmond, a historic village filled with quaint stone buildings, ye olde lolly shops and Australia’s oldest bridge! This sandstone beauty was built by convicts and is thought to be haunted. You be the judge. A devilishly good day out.

Unzoo absolutely don’t go!! Port Arthur do go

Hayley 2 December 2021

Unzoo I would give a 0 but can’t. The devils only 3 looked unkept. The grounds were long with grass. I had previously went to Trowunna sanctuary where all the animals had shiny coats and park lands well kept. There was no comparison. If you want to see the best go to Trowunna sanctuary where they were informative on all animals including wombats echidnas and Tasmania devils and hawks and bald eagles the list goes on. Don’t waste your hard earn money on this unzoo. 10 mins we did the whole lot and glad I never paid as it was a gift. On the other side port Arthur heritage site was brilliant informative definitely do the tour as lots of information was given and just a well looked after grounds and sites.

Ruby 11 July 2019

The whole trip was amazing, we were picked up from our hotel and greeted by a lovely driver who took us to so many places before reaching port arthur. He had so much information and was very engaging. The whole day was an amazing experience and I recommend it to everyone!!

Port Arthur with heaps more included...

Josie 28 March 2017

We were collected by our driver/guide for the day Lisa just after 7am. We had a wonderful day with lots of sightseeing, history, general interesting facts about the area. Despite not getting back to our hotel until close to 6pm it was a fabulous day. Stops at Richmond, Unzoo wildlife and conservation park (a bonus being able to get up close and personal with kangaroos and joeys), chocolate factory, and more. And of course Port Arthur being the main reason for our trip, it was all very worthwhile and good value for money.

This was a great tour
