If purple is your favourite colour (and flavour), you’ll relish the chance to stop at heavenly Port Arthur Lavender. This is a locally owned Tassie business where everything is lavender. Lavender lattes, lavender scones, lavender soaps and so much more. Enjoy a crowd-favourite morning tea and farm wander before setting off to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site.

Port Arthur is up next, where impeccably preserved ruins offer a chilling glimpse of life as a Tasmanian convict. Spend four hours exploring this World Heritage open air museum, including a complimentary harbour cruise around the Isle of the Dead and fascinating site talks.

Our last stop is the unmissable Richmond, a historic village filled with quaint stone buildings, ye olde lolly shops and Australia’s oldest bridge! This sandstone beauty was built by convicts and is thought to be haunted. You be the judge.

This is a fast paced, active day tour. There is no maximum age, however, good physical health and mobility is important
Meals are not included. You may bring your lunch and snacks with you. There are also cafes and restaurants available at Port Arthur Historic Site where you can purchase food and drinks

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Exclusion : Food and drinks - There are many options for your lunch at the Port Arthur Historic Site. There are cafes and takeaway food options to suit your style and budget. You are welcome to bring your own food/snacks along with you for the day.

After our bush walk on the Cliff top trails, with camera ready photos and the beautiful lavender farm we headed off to Port Arthur. Our tour driver was so informative and told of some great convict stories. It was truly amazing with the added cruise around the Isle of the Dead. A stop at Richmond on our way back was as pretty as a picture. Enjoyed every minute of our tour.
