This Eco-certified sanctuary showcases the famous and endangered faces of Australian wildlife, including southern bettong, eastern quolls and rare fluffy gliders. From here travel to Phillip Island to see The Nobbies and Seal Rocks, take a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the spectacular views along Phillip Island’s rugged south coast. Next stop is Summerland Beach, home to Victoria’s largest colony of little penguins for the nightly Penguin Parade. Watch as hundreds of little penguins make their way across the beach and return to their sand dune burrows. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity no one should miss!

Session Length

  • Please allow approximately 9-10 hours for the duration of this experience
  • Returns approximately 10pm-midnight depending on the time of year
  • Departure times: 1.30-45pm (April-Oct) 2.30-45pm (Nov-March)
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday (all year round) Saturday (November to April)

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • Cancellation/date change of any tour in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare
  • Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled

This experience runs with a minimum of six and a maximum of 24 participants.

Weather

Tour operates rain, hail or shine. We suggest customers bring their own jackets and/or umbrellas if weather forecast is poor.

Dress Code

Appropriate clothing for warm and cool conditions is recommended as it can get chilly when waiting for the Penguins. Please also bring sunscreen, water bottle and hat.

The tour departs from Melbourne's CBD, and takes place on Phillip Island.
