Be captivated by stunning coastal scenery and an array of furry animals during this full day tour from Melbourne. Get up close to Aussie animals, follow the unrivalled coastline of Phillip Island and spend sunset watching the adorable little penguins waddle ashore on their daily parade.
See first-hand why Phillip Island is so highly famed during this full day tour. Departing Melbourne, you will begin the day with a visit to the Koala and Wildlife Park. Make some new furry friends as you get up close and personal to a bunch of Australian animals, with the chance to hand-feed kangaroos or get a photo with a koala, all at your own expense. Then, head over to Phillip Island, which is home to magnificent sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and unique wildlife. Wander along Cape Woolamai and witness wild waves crashing down, explore the quaint town of Cowes and enjoy lunch, and visit Nobbies Rocks to see the Australian fur seal colony.
Next, travel the backroads of Phillip Island before arriving at the main spectacle, the Penguin Parade. As the sun sets, marvel at the adorable little penguins emerging from the sea and waddling ashore. These furry creatures affectionately named fairy penguins, are the smallest of their kind, measuring at 30 centimetres tall. The phenomena is truly magical and unforgettable. After the parade, make the journey home to Melbourne.
No photography allowed at the penguin parade, as penguins have sensitive eyes and a bright, sudden flash or unusual light can frighten or disorientate a penguin.
