Pasta is one of the staples of our diet. There are so many different recipes you can cook with pasta so it should never be boring! Pasta is quick and easy to prepare and very satisfying to eat. Come and learn more about how to use a pasta machine and cooking with pasta.
This cooking class is a self contained introduction to everything that you want to know about making fantastic pasta dishes. On arrival you will be offered a refreshment then given a short brief on safety and orientation. The chef demonstrates the courses to be cooked, and answers any questions before students break into pairs to prepare the meal under the guidance of the chef. When everything is ready you will sit down and eat everything that you have prepared at a large single set table.
This class will show the difference between dried and fresh pasta, and just how easy it is to make your own from scratch! After completing the lesson you will have practical experience in food preparation, cooking and presentation. You will have the skills necessary to provide good food, inexpensively, with minimum effort. Importantly, you are also taught many of the shortcuts that professional chefs use to produce great results quickly - a bonus for people on the go.
