Splash about in pristine waters and indulge in six fresh Coffin Bay oysters during an up-close-and-personal oyster farm tour. During this experience you'll hear all about the industry as you sit in the water and taste oysters shucked straight out of the ocean.

After wading out to the water, you'll sit at the semi submerged tour deck called 'The Salt Water Pavilion'.

With feet gently resting in the water below, you'll hear all about the ins and outs of the oyster farming industry, direct from Ben, the oyster farmer.

During this experience, you'll taste the freshest Coffin Bay oysters straight out of the water and soon come to understand why they are so famous.

Session Length

  • This experience is 90 minutes in duration
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for your tour so you can be fitted with waders

  • Please bring socks to get in/out of waders
  • Rescheduling may occur due to weather and tide changes

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged with them directly according to this policy:

  • Cancellation can be made up to 24 hours in advance
  • Cancellations within this timeframe, including no show on the day of tour incurs a 100% forfeit of the experience voucher
  • Rescheduling may occur due to weather and tide changes

Please dress according to the weather. You will be seated out in the water, so if it's hot, please bring a hat. For winter tours, it would be beneficial to wear warm clothing and bring a scarf and beanie. Please bring socks to get in and out of waders.

Other Info

Please wear comfortable clothing, as you'll be putting waterproof waders on over the top of your clothing. Please bring a pair of socks to wear with the waders. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your tour, so you can be fitted with waders. If you're travelling from Port Lincoln to attend the tour, please depart one hour prior to scheduled tour start to ensure you arrive 15 minutes prior to tour start, for wader fittings.

This experience is located in Coffin Bay, a picturesque 30 minute drive from Port Lincoln.
