Saddle up and leave the everyday behind as you explore the rolling countryside of the Hunter Valley on horseback. Following gentle trails through bushland and farmland, you'll soak up sweeping rural views, vine-covered hills and mountain scenery while enjoying a slower pace and a deeper connection with nature.

Whether it's your first time in the saddle or you're returning to riding after years away, you'll be matched with a suitable horse and guided by an experienced instructor every step of the way. Set at a relaxed walking pace, this one-hour experience is a memorable way to discover a different side of the Hunter Valley and makes a thoughtful gift for animal lovers, nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

Session Length

This experience is one hour in duration
Available seven days a week
Tours run from 8am and depart every hour on the hour until 4pm

Guidelines

A waiver of liability must be signed by participants before the tour
Minimum age of 10 years old; maximum weight of 110kg
No same-day bookings; minimum of 24 hours' booking notice required
Mobile phones and camera use is not permitted whilst riding

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Maximum of 20 participants.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome but must stay within the spectator designated areas.

Weather

This experience will still run in moderate wet weather however can be cancelled or postponed in heavy rain.

Dress Code

Long pants and enclosed shoes are required for this experience.

Incredible!

We had an incredible experience! I was quite nervous to start but the team were so reassuring and kept checking in throughout the ride. My horse Hunter was super sweet and calm! The trail was beautiful and staff were amazing!

Absolute waste of money

The staff were overheard swearing on the phone before our ride about staff shortages. The ride itself was the most boring thing I’ve done. The horses only walked, so it’s suitable for first timers but boring if you have a little bit of experience. The entire ride, the instructor was on the phone trying to organise more staff to come in. The farm was a mess with crap lying around everywhere. Absolute waste of money

Perfect end to the weekend. Tour was just my wife and myself. Very relaxing and views were great. Our horses were calm and easy to ride. The tour guides were great to chat with. Would definitely recommend.

Horse riding experience was really enjoyable by myself and all my friends. The staff were lovely and the trail was simple. Although we were scared at first, the horses were really well behaved and followed through, helping us to enjoy our experience more.

This horse riding experience was absolutely amazing! The workers were so lovely and gentle when picking the horses to match each of the riders and gave us all a brief so we felt comfortable and anytime someone begun drifting off the path, the workers gave positive re-enforcement and guidance to help the rider get back on track. They chatted about each of the horses by sharing their ages, how they are trained and the race name along with their stable name which really made the experience feel more personal and thoughtful. I cannot wait to go again soon and is an experience I would 100% recommend for first time riders or just anyone wanting to have some fun!
