Spend a day away from the city, riding a mountain bike along a beautiful single trail network through the You Yangs Regional Park. Beginning the day cycling amongst flat twisting trails of the park, and finishing by going down some flowing descents into an old quarry.
The You Yangs Regional Park has over 50km of designated mountain bike trails, and is full of native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and even the occasional koala! The morning begins in the Kurrajong, a eucalyptus plantation. Twist and turn through these mostly flat trails, allowing you to hone your skills and confidence. Whilst mostly flat, with trees speeding by your handlebars and a few small features along the way you'll be assured a great deal of adrenaline.
After the morning's ride, stop for a well earned rest and a bite to eat to refuel your energy levels for the second half of the day. After lunch, you are driven over to the other side of the park to the Stockyard Trails. Starting at the top, you ride down beautiful trails to the heart of an old quarry, making your way through the classic rocky granite outcrops of the You Yangs. The trail finishes on the rush of a downhill section.
