Old Kempton Distillery in Dysart House is packed full of history and award-winning whisky. Go behind the scenes of the fully functioning distillery, learn the stories of Dysart House and enjoy a guided tasting of four x 15ml unique whiskies, gins or liqueurs.

What's included?

Dysart House is home to the Old Kempton Distillery and a few spooky ghost stories! This experience begins with an introduction to the story of Dysart House before embarking on a behind the scenes tour of the working distillery. Finish with a guided tasting of four unique Old Kempton spirits as you chat more about the distillation process and the unique characteristics and profiles of each. If you'd like to stay a little longer, explore the beautiful grounds or enjoy lunch at the cellar door (own expense).

Important information

  • The tour runs for approximately 45 minutes, and the tasting is another 45 minutes afterwards
  • Participants must be over the age of 18 to be served alcohol; photo ID will be required
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This tour takes place with a maximum of 20 people.

The tour and tasting will continue no matter the weather - please wear appropriate clothing.

Please wear shoes closed in shoes. High heels are not permitted due to uneven surfaces.

The tour was intimate and informative. The tour also included tasting of 4 whisky products in a nice old style relaxed setting. Was a nice place for an afternoon visit.

The staff at Old Kempton were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and making of Spirits. We had a very relaxing afternoon in the beautiful historic building. Very highly recommended.
