Tick off all the must do sights such as the Gorge Headland Walk and Point Lookout, visit the historic town of Dunwich and fishing village of Amity, and go for a swim at Cylinder beach.
North Stradbroke Island is your window into paradise. From the untouched beauty of its beaches and rugged coastlines to the crystal clear waters and abundance of Australian wildlife, Queensland's most popular island is only a short 45-minute ferry ride across Moreton Bay, though with views this spectacular it could be considered a mini-tour all it's own. Upon arrival on North Stradbroke Island, you will have the opportunity to walk the glorious Gorge, an absolute highlight of the day and one of the top things to do on the island. This fantastic walk around the rugged North Gorge headland offers you the chance to capture that "Kodak moment" by experiencing the “blow” from Whale Rock or with any number of iconic beach shots. Keep a lookout for some of the wilder local residents on the island including koalas, kangaroos, dolphins, sea turtles and stingrays that inhabit this beautiful corner of South East Queensland.
Lunch can be purchased on your tour at the iconic Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel where you have your choice of a main course from the menu. After lunch, continue to Point Lookout, a popular whale watching spot during the winter months offering an unforgettable opportunity to witness Humpback Whales playing in the ocean before an afternoon visit to Myora Springs to uncover the local Aboriginal history. This North Stradbroke Island day tour wraps up at Cylinder Beach with plenty of time to swim in the ocean or sink your toes into the sand on a relaxing beach walk.
This experience is 10 hours in duration, returning to Brisbane City at 5.45pm.

Light casual wear is recommended and a winter jacket for the cooler months. There will be an opportunity to swim. Please bring bather and towel if you wish to swim. Dry clothes will be required on the bus.
