This remarkable adventure offers a chance to visit secluded locations by kayak and truly experience the natural beauty and wildlife in a relaxed quiet setting. Launch from the National Park and explore Kin Kin Creek or the might Noosa River for a full day on the water.
Meet your hosts in the morning to get fitted for your kayak and safety equipment before being driven out to your launch location in the National Park. Settle into your kayak and familiarise yourself with the map, before learning all the basic skills for an enjoyable paddle across Lake Cootharaba to Kinaba.
From here, you are free to explore where you want within the Noosa Everglades. You could head up the lesser-paddled waters of Kin Kin Creek or enjoy the company of the mighty Noosa River and weave in and out of the small islands which dot the northern reaches of Fig Tree Lake. If you feel like a challenge, test your paddling stamina and head up to the iconic Harry’s Hut for a swim in the tea coloured waters, or perhaps you plan to use the kayak to get to a wilder bush walking track within the Cooloola Recreation Area - it’s entirely up to you with all of the endless possibilities!
