What do you give the person who has everything? There's nothing more special than having a real star named in their honour!
How do you name a star? You nominate the constellation, the date of registration, and, most importantly, the name you are giving to the star. All the instructions on how to do this will be sent to you upon receipt of your booking.
Please note, the star you are naming is not visible to the naked eye. You need a 250mm telescope to see it. Only about 5000 stars are visible to the naked eye. These stars are not available for naming (and never have been) because they already have scientific and historical names. Naming a star through the International Star Registry is not recognised by the scientific community. The star's name appears in the International Star Registry records only. The stars named are not 'owned', nor is their scientific identification altered.
