Experience the perfect marriage between adventure and nature during this guided cycling tour. Starting from Hobart's waterfront, you will be driven to the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington for jaw-dropping views across southern Tasmania and the city of Hobart. After many moments of awe, hop on your bike for the ultimate downhill bicycle ride, from 1272 metres to sea level. The 21km journey will see you pedal by contrasting landscapes, from sub-alpine and mountains rainforests to the buzzing waterfront of Hobart. Highlights you will cycle passed include The Springs, Cascade Brewery and Gardens, The Female Factory, South Hobart and Battery Point.
Minimum age of 12 years old. Bike manufacturer minimum requirements of a minimum height of 150cm and 120kg also apply.

kunanyi/Mt Wellington’s Summit can be affected at times by adverse weather conditions. In these conditions we cannot always guarantee views due to poor visibility and also may choose to commence the cycle descent from a lower height to avoid strong winds.
Fully enclosed shoes are essential. On average, it is 10 degrees colder at the summit of Mt Wellington than in Hobart, so it is recommend you bring or wear something warm for the summit such as a warm jumper/jacket and long trousers, but wears layers underneath as it can warm up quickly once you are off the mountain.
Activity indemnity waiver form must be completed prior to departure for the trip. Children under 18 must have their form signed by a parent/guardian.
