This full day wine tour departs Albany to explore the beautiful Mount Barker region, visiting four of the top wineries to sample a range award-winning cool climate wines. Enjoy a shared platter lunch of local produce, peruse artworks and meet the winemakers and vineyard owners on your travels.

Meander through the stunning Mount Barker region and through less travelled routes to find extraordinary cool climate wines. Nestled next to the Porongorup Range and Stirling Range National Park, your first tasting stop will be Gilbert Wines, where a morning coffee and walk around the vineyard might be preferred. Next stop is Plantagenet Wines, here you'll be treated to a private behind-the-scenes tour of the winery and a tasting session. Afterwards, you'll be seated for a delicious share-style lunch of local produce overlooking a picturesque setting. The journey continues to family-owned winery, Galafrey Wines, before finishing at West Cape Howe. Here you can sample wine, olive oil or their own brand of coffee! Relax and chat with your new friends as you enjoy a scenic ride home.

Relaxed and enjoyable tour

Visited 4 wineries and enjoyed the wine tasting and learnt more about the different types of wine. Both wife and I could have peace of mind to enjoy the wine tasting with our capable and very professional guide Susan at the wheel. Had a delicious lunch too!
