Chels 20 July 2022 I looked up the time for sunset, and booked such that I would have 30mins daylight and 30mins night time viewing, with the edge experience done in the dark. There is a waiting time for edge, but you get to enjoy the bar and snacks and walk/sit, take photos, stand indoors and outdoors to enjoy the view. The edge experience was fantastic, but all up around 7-10mins long. No phones allowed, but photos are $12-18, which is reasonable. It's been on my bucket list to do in Melbourne - it is as advertised (straightforward sightseeing) but I also got a kick out of the speed of the elevator (it's what you make it(. Didn't try the virtual tour, or the virtual walk the plank vr Google's which are also available at extra cost.

When we arrived we were told it would be an hour and half wait for the edge were offered alternatives which was kind, we choose to wait. Once at the top, views were nice and pretty but once you’ve seen it there isn’t a lot to do for over a hour, also realised they didn’t have a lot of food options for veggies or other dietary needs, so asked staff if we could get a voucher to come back other day to do the edges as it was 7pm and all restaurants would be closed by the time we were done, staff said that wasn’t possible but bumped us up in the line for the edge so we could get out in time for dinner ( so amazing of them) the edge was cool when the floor first disappears but the view isn’t really any different to what you see when you aren’t in the edge. The outside bit is cool! Being a jacket its windy and cold!! Overall glad we did it with a voucher, wouldn’t go back, and really looking at our photos is anyone who hasn’t gone, you don’t miss / see much.
