For the avid home entertainer or just someone who struggles with barbecuing; this cooking class will give anyone the confidence to take control of their backyard barbie! Lead by professional chefs with a passion for barbecuing; you'll learn a whole 3-course bbq meal and with the hands on nature of the cooking class, you will leave with the confidence to recreate the dishes at home for family and friends.

You'll also get the opportunity to do a two part wine tasting, here's you'll learn basics of wine matching. A great skill to have when entertaining; you'll learn what wines are best to serve at a barbecue. The best thing about this cooking class however, is that you get to eat everything you cook! Sit down with your fellow students and instructors and tuck into a gourmet BBQ meal.

Session Length

  • Available on selected Saturdays throughout the year, please check availability for dates

  • Classes generally run for 3 hours


You have to be 18+ years old to be served alcohol. Photo IDs may be required.


  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to ensure a successful day barbecuing for all
  • Choose between three different BBQ classes: Meat OR Seafood OR Beer and BBQ - date dependent


Once this experience has been confirmed changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy. Fees may apply.

Numbers on the Day

Classes operate with 12 – 20 people in each cooking class plus 2 experienced chefs. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.

Dress Code

Please wear covered footwear on the day of the cooking class. During the cooler months, it is also recommended to bring a jumper as the class is held in an outdoor location.
