Delve into the Kuku Yalanji people's connection to country, the environment and culture during this full day tour. As you explore the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge, learn about different foods and medicine, try traditional hunting practices, take guided walks and swim in freshwater streams.
Originating from the rainforests of Far North Queensland, the Kuku Yalanji people have been living in harmony with the environment for over 50,000 years. Discover their inextricable links to country, culture and history during this full day tour. Led by local Aboriginal guides, you will explore their environment and visit Aboriginal cultural sites, learn about different foods and medicine, collect shellfish, sample some bush tucker and try your hand at spear throwing where you might be lucky and catch a mud crab. You'll also wander through the southern Daintree Rainforest on a guided walk, visit Mossman Gorge and cool off in freshwater streams.
Please allow a full day for this experience.
